Law Clerk
Emily graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Psychology in 1990 and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1993. She continued her legal education at Georgetown University, where she received a Master of Laws in Taxation in 1994. While in law school, Emily was a recipient of the William Waller Criminal Law Award and the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure.
Emily is licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi; and she has worked in private practice in Mississippi, as an Attorney-Advisor for the United States Tax Court, and as a trial attorney for the Internal Revenue Service.
On a personal note, Emily is married to Robert Bosworth, D.D.S., and they have three children. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog for walks and to the beach, and binge-watching episodes of Law & Order.
